Rub-a-dub-dub Three Men in a Tub

When I was a small child, my mom would throw my brother and I in the tub at the same time for a bath.  Saving time and energy, I'm sure.  It was lots of fun because we had those sliding glass doors on our tub.  We'd close the doors and have diving contests.  I wonder if my mom realizes that we were just one super dive away from stitches?  We enjoyed trying to see how "big a splash" we could make.  Out of all of our tub toys, the Three Men in a Tub really stands out to me.  A butcher, a baker and a candlestick maker.  Few things seem more elusive to me.  Why these professions and where exactly were these three men headed in that tub anyway?  Needless to say they survived many a rogue wave in our tub.

My obsession with the bath doesn't end there.  I love soap....bars in particular.  Soaps come in all kinds of shapes, smells, sizes, and even some with little pictures.  In our guest bath, mom always had decorative soaps.  They were for looking only.  I'm still not sure why people use them.  I knew then, as I know now, that I would never have them since you couldn't "use" them.

Now that you have a little background on my love of soap....I've been busy for the last month searching and finding all kinds of fabulous, handmade soaps that I wanted to share with you!

Mmm...nothing smells as good as maple cured bacon.  A friend of mine once said that everything is better with bacon.  Even Taco Bell knows how to attract a man....BACON!  Now lather up with the smell of maple syrup and think about breakfast all day! This fabulous soap available from Sweet Soaps.

SunbasilGarden soaps look good enough to eat!  It would be hard not to be tempted to take a bite of this watermelon.  Delish!  All of these soaps, such as Chocolate Mint Chip, go hand in hand with my love of food!  A little Pirate's Booty for your pirate lover--a perfect birthday gift for any little boy!

Finally, a new favorite of mine, A Slice of Delight.  These soaps make me smile with their bright colors.  Who wouldn't want to scrub down with these delightfully, yummy soaps?

I hope you'll try out some of these soaps.  I intend to try out a few as soon as I can make a decision....and some of you know how hard that is for me!  Have a great day!

I've been using A Slice of Delight's soaps for about 3 weeks now. I will never go back to commercial soaps. Hilary's soaps lather well and are so moisturizing. I even use her soap to shampoo my hair, the lather is so thick and creamy. The fragrances are incredible without being overpowering. My husband uses the Mahogany and I can't stop smelling him :) Highly HIGHLY recommend this seller and her products!
