Ten on Tuesday
Today’s Ten on Tuesday is about shopping. Something we all love and have probably been participating in since last Friday.
1. Do you prefer to shop in big box stores, the mall, specialty shops or online?
I do a lot of my shopping on my lunch hour. That includes hitting up Target, Old Navy, Dicks Sporting Goods, Macys, and many other department stores and Big Box stores. I prefer shopping in small, locally owned shops, but sometimes they are not convenient.
2. What is your favorite thing to shop for?
SHOES! I can shop for shoes every day, all day. I'm always looking for basics, too.
3. What is your favorite store?
My favorite store....hmm....I love shopping in Sur la Table and Williams Sonoma. I am a kitchen gadget geek!
4. What is your favorite online shopping site?
I am always checking out things online. I love seeing what's new at The Pink Monogram. Granted, my friend, Monica, owns this shop and web site in Greenville, SC. She has a keen eye and always has the HOTTEST products.
5. Where do you spend most of your time shopping AND spending money?
Old Navy. I can't go in and not find a deal. I love it because the clothes are what I call disposable. I shop in there at least once a week.
6. Do you participate in Black Friday shopping? If so, do you make a list or just head out randomly? I have never been excited about shopping with people for a mad dash of stuff. This does not excite me in the least. I will say that this past Friday, I did venture out that afternoon with my sister. We went to one of the many local Target stores. I did make a purchase of two games for my niece and nephew.
7. What is the last thing you purchased for yourself in a store?
I bought myself some long sleeve tees at Old Navy last week....it was a holiday special. $3, y'all!
8. What is the last thing you purchased for someone else in a store?
The games I mentioned on #6. I'm looking forward to playing some Candyland!!
9. What is the last thing you purchased online?
I bought a new car monogram from Electra's Monograms. She's got houndstooth vinyl, y'all!! I haven't had a chance to put it on my car, but it is divine!!
10. Do you enjoy grocery shopping?
I am one of the insane people who loves the grocery store. Must be my love of food. I also love saving money and couponing.
