Good morning, y'all! TGIF! I didn't sleep worth a hoot last night. My husband had to push me out of bed this morning. I got up, though, because I had to share my new obsession: Crock pot Suppers.
If you follow me on Pinterest, then you know I have a whole board of crock pot suppers that I've found. I'm compiling a list and working to make them as healthy as possible. The crock pot is the easiest way to prepare dinner in the morning and come home to a house smelling D-liscious!
Last week, I made my first Pinterest recipe, Hawaiian Chicken. This could not have been easier.

I won't waste time here telling you how to make it. Just go to the Six Sisters' Stuff Blog
HERE. I will tell you that I used Lawry's Hawaiian Marinade and not the Target brand. Truth be told, my Target doesn't have a large "grocery section." I do plan to pick some up when in I'm near the one by my office and try it too, though. It was still yummy! I served mine over Jasmine Rice, too. White or brown will do the trick also.
My favorite this about this recipe is that you can change the sauce and the vegetables to make a whole different meal with very little effort.
Have a great weekend!
Happy Friday!
xoxo,
Laurie
Oh yum! I have to get ready for carpool drop-off, but I will be back this afternoon, and get all my follows in order. I've been trying to do crock pot more on Tuesdays.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for linking up today.
Yes, my husband went to State. I went to Carolina, but love the Wolfpack, too. We actually go to NC State basketball games.
Good Morning Friend!
ReplyDeleteThis looks so yummy, I am gonna try it very soon:) We eat so much chicken and I am always looking for new ways to cook it.
Thanks for linking up and I hope you have a great weekend!
Go Heels!
ReplyDeleteAnyhow--I have prejudice against crock pot recipes. All of my friends pin hundreds upon hundreds of crock pot recipes and dips that involve a lot of cream cheese and pepperoni. I just can't bring myself to like or repin recipes like that. I did, however, see that this Hawaiian recipe was pretty popular on the Pinterest circuit yesterday. I bet it was DELICIOUS.
I can't wait to try this. It sounds like something that my son will enjoy, too. He's a picky one sometimes but chicken is one thing he likes. Thanks for sharing. I see you are from NC, too. I am too!
ReplyDeleteI'm always in search of new crockpot ideas...and this is the most unique I've seen lately! Thanks for sharing :)
