What a beautiful day it is here in North Carolina! It's going to be a lazy day for us. This is the first year I am not hostess-with-the-mostess. We aren't having our annual Testerwood July 4th Invitational. I am not sure if I'm truly happy about not planning anything. I love a good party. I really just wanted to be lazy this year. I am looking forward to a few things, though:
- I'm looking forward to cooking out with my husband's family for lunch
- Homemade Peach Ice Cream
- Watching the fireworks from around the country in the a/c at home
- Poolside with friends and hanging out later in the evening
- My 5-day weekend
In 2 days, I will be welcoming another niece into the fold. I am looking forward to spending the entire with "the big sister." I don't have too much planned, but she is very excited. I hope that I don't disappoint her, but I know she just loves being here.
