I really love getting my Birch Box each month. I have gotten so many fabulous samples. Things I wouldn't have tried otherwise. I'm using this moisturizer from last month that I LOVE right now. I'm not sure how much it's going to cost me when the tub runs dry, but I think it will be worth it.
This month, the box is all about the senses:
It is FULL of fabulous items. I was excited just reading about all the goodies in the box.
Fabulous hair protection from Alterna. I'm a true bleach blonde, so I am always looking for something to hydrate my hair. Speaking of, and totally off the subject, but--I have been using the TRESemme Split Remedy andI LOVE it. I got a free sample (yes, I'm a super freak on samples) from my Target sample pack. It even came with a coupon and tomorrow, I am going to buy a big bottle of it. It really has helped the moisture in my hair.
Okay, okay...back to the box. Another fabulous item from Stila. This time for my lips. A mini Uber bar, some Dr. Jart+ beauty balm (more moisturizer for my face), Bamboo Color Care spray (more moisture for my hair) and a new set of ear buds! I'm seriously in love with this box!
Oh..and while I have been MIA on the blog front, I have been super busy around here. I know I mentioned I was working out. That apparently is something that takes a lot of time and really isn't much to write about. I'm in love with Core Barre, though. Once a week and I am strong and flexible. Running and hitting the gym twice a week.
Also, my sister had her third child last weekend (Friday, to be exact). We were all excited to see our newest addition. While she was at the hospital for the first day and half, we kept her oldest child. She's a doll. We took her to my brother's condo swimming almost all day Friday and Saturday. It was a battle to see who could tire out who first. I am claiming victory, though the jury is still out.
I do have proof. Here she is after our early Saturday morning trip to the grocery store, Krispy Kreme, and the hospital to visit her new sister....but before day 2 at the pool She'd slept 10 hours the night before. I win, right??
When I dropped her off at home with her dad at 4 Saturday afternoon, I was exhausted, too.
Mother, Daddy, and baby are doing well. Big Sister and Big Brother are hanging in there, too.
Happy Wednesday, friends!
xoxo,
Laurie
